Mandy Wood holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a PGCE, is a graduate member of several societies and is working on her eighth textbook. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience, 13 of which were spent as Head of Psychology at an IB World School in the UK, Mandy Wood is an exceptional tutor and IB workshop leader. IB student grades are boosted through Mandy’s effective teaching methods.
Mandy is a prolific writer and active in many psychology circles. She is on the editorial board for Psychology Review magazine and runs the Facebook community PsychStix, dedicated to psychology teachers. Mandy also organises a bi-annual writing competition with the UK Association of Teachers of Psychology, of which she has been an active member for over 15 years.
Mandy’s teaching style is bespoke, highly visual, and entertaining. She loves dismantling qualitative and quantitative research methods and supporting IB Psychology students to further their understanding of the statistics necessary for A Levels and IB Diploma. She is an animal lover who lives by the seaside.
