In 2008, Yannis worked as a Physics teacher in public schools, before moving to Italy to focus on the IB curriculum. Since 2016, Yannis has worked at an International School in Venice, Italy, teaching IB Physics and integrated sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in MYP.

Yannis is an incredibly passionate teacher who inspires through wonder and marvel, bringing great joy to his students and love for the subject. A quote he lives his life by is: “Knowledge isn't free. You have to pay attention.” These wise words by Richard Feynman are the foundation of learning for Yannis.

In his free time, Yannis enjoys attending IB workshops for DP Physics and MYP or shooting hoops with friends on the basketball court. He’s also a seasoned rambler and sightseer.
