How KnowledgeActive's model works
Our elite IB service is designed to support IB students throughout the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and beyond.
1. Discovery call
Explanatory meeting with KnowledgeActive's senior academic consultant to understand and analyse the IB candidate's current academic status and explore potential coaching support options. Following this, your bespoke service plan will be curated.
2. Introductory meeting
Where the IB candidate is introduced to their individually assigned academic IB coach and the IB candidate's needs and challenges are explored in detail and an initial coaching plan and process is proposed and discussed.
3. Preparing for the International Baccalaureate
KnowledgeActive will provide guidance and academic counselling to select the optimal IB Profile of IB subjects, ensuring the IB student undertakes the most appropriate courses, adapted to the needs and (future) study wishes of the student.
4. During the International Baccalaureate
Our team, consisting of IB experts, enjoy optimally preparing our IB students for the IB exams. We love to see our IB students flourish. Our IB tutors share their IB expertise, knowledge of the content and IB, providing academic support throughout the whole IBDP programme, creating a tailored approach for each IB student. IB student's progress will be continually evaluated and parents / guardians are kept in the loop at all times.

Yes, this is a core-student-focused value for KnowledgeActive. IB students can contact our specialised academic coaches with their questions at any time. We don't want our IB students to have to wait for the next session to receive answers to their questions. Please understand that our coaches will respond to you as soon as they are available.
Do my academic coaches have many other students?
KnowledgeActive makes sure our students receive the appropriate academic coach, matching the student profile and needs. Furthermore, we diligently choose our IB students, based on intrinsic motivation, dedication, maturity, and willingness to commit to the sessions, and we do not accept every IB student.
How long does the average student remain with KnowledgeActive?
KnowledgeActive has a wide variety of IB students. Some students start in Grade 10 (pre-IBDP) to ensure the adequate IBDP-programme is selected. Other students access the academic coaching programme during their IBDP. KnowledgeActive also works with students who are IB graduates but return to us for coaching during their university careers for support with aspects of their studies, such as academic guidance with thesis.
