Specialising in the humanities with a Bachelor’s degree from King’s College London and a Master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Music, Nick Carter is a dynamic IB tutor across various subjects (Theory of Knowledge (ToK), English and Theater studies).
With solid years of IB teaching experience, and even having personally completed the IB himself, Nick has a great knowledge, experience, and affinity with the complete IB process. He primarily tutors IB Diploma students, but can also teach GCSE and A-level English and provide academic writing support.
Nick's particular expertise is with ToK essays and exhibitions. He achieved full marks in his own ToK essay many years ago and enjoys guiding students to tackle the critical thinking and intellectual demands of ToK.
In his free time, Nick is either writing or on the stage; most recently he performed in ‘Les Misérables’ in London. Nick’s background in performance allows him to make lessons vibrant, creative and engaging for our students.
